I love taking photos and putting them together in an aesthetic vibe. Hence why Instagram is my favorite app. Once I have taken a photo for Insta and feel that it is aesthetically pleasing for my feed I move on to the fun part, editing!
VSCO // If you are an avid Instagrammer and don't have this app, what are you doing with your life? Go download it now. It has the best filters plus you can preview what your Instagram feed will look like which is great for those of us who have a theme! The editing features on this are also great, plus it's free!
Facetune // This is also a must have app for me and is well worth the $2.99. I use this app to whiten my backgrounds, give a little more detail to some things within a picture, and get rid of any crazy blemishes I may have. This has become a quick favorite because I feel like once I started using this to whiten my yellow backgrounds, my feed has been looking so much better!
Phonto // I use this app to watermark my photos because I have this predetermined vision in my mind that one of my photos will start circulating and then no one knows it's me. Is it just me? You can do so many things with the text in this app and can shape it to your liking.
Nikon WMU // This isn't an editing app but I figured I would throw it in. This is how I get my pictures from my Nikon D500 DSLR to my phone to upload to Insta! This is a lifesaver and cuts out my computer as the middleman.
Spark Post // I plan on using this on my Cali Jae Designs Instagram more but it is great to create quotes on photos and you can use them on any social media! I also like to use this to create wallpapers!
UNUM // This is my newest discovery and I am totally obsessed. This app is literally VSCO and Facetune combined AND it's free. It actually adds all of your existing Instagram photos to the ones you edit in the app so you can see how it looks as a whole which VSCO does not include.
What is your favorite editing app? Let me know in the comments!
