What's In My Art Journal Pouch | Delfonics Pouch

“No time like the present to really go inward and truly get in tune with yourself. Stop seeking external validation and unhealthy distractions. Instead of picking up your phone and mindlessly scrolling, pick up a new hobby, sit in silence and just be, read a new book, go for a walk, journal, draw (no matter how bad it may be), dance, etc. You have the power to change your habits and be more mindful of how you spend your time.” - Caroline Rogers

Small Delfonics Utility Pouch

This is my absolute favorite accessory to keep my supplies organized. It may look small but it packs a punch and holds a ton which you can see in the video above. It’s extremely versatile and you can use it for a multitude of uses.

Naomi Vandoren Pin

Naomi’s work is stunning and I have been a fan of hers for years now. When you go to her site, you are instantly transported to this fantasy world that is just so magical. When she launched this pin, I just had to have it! You can find her beautiful artwork here.

Micro Portable Painter (with Jane Davenport watercolors)

I wanted to have a mini palette that was able to hold some half pans while also being able to hold water and have a place for mixing colors. I was able to get this as a pre-order and it fits my needs perfectly. It is so compact and fits in this pouch perfectly. See in the video above how it comes together as a palette!

Pentel Aquash Water Brush in Medium

This brush is perfect for travel and on the go watercolor painting. All you have to do is fill the barrel with water and off you go!

Gold Skeleton Binder Clip

I love using these to clip onto my sketchbook to keep the pages open and flat so that I don’t have to worry about the wind blowing them around.

Clear Acrylic Block

I use this to put my clear stamps on to press them onto the paper.

Watercolor Swatches

One of my favorite things to do is to make swatch cards. Sometimes it’s hard to tell how a color will come out just by looking at it in the pan, so by having the swatch card you can tell the true color of it and see how opaque or transparent it is. You can also mix colors and see the different shades you can make!

Ephemera

I love having different bits of ephemera to put into my art journal to decorate my pages. It’s relaxing, brings the pages to life, and inspires me to write.

Canon Ivy in Mint + Canon Ivy Photo Paper

This is one of my favorite journaling supplies. I love putting pictures in my journal to look back on memories from different events and days that were special to me. All you have to do is peel off the sticker on the back and pop it right into your journal and it stays put!

Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black

This ink is archival which makes it great for art journaling because you know it will last. I use this for my clear stamps and it has been my go-to for years.

Polaroid Photos

I do have a couple of polaroids I keep on hand but I prefer the Canon Ivy photos.

Vintage Stamps

When I was younger I used to collect vintage stamps. When I recently started getting into art journaling, I was so excited to find my old collection and finally be able to put them to use. I have been on a vintage kick lately.

Watercolor Rag

This is a must-have in my art kit. It is essential for when I have to wipe off my brush in order to change colors.

Washi Tape

I like to use washi tape to decorate my pages or to use it in my sketchbook to make a border around the edges so that after I paint I can peel it off so my painting is a clean square.

A6 Watercolor Sketchbook from Hahnemuhle

This sketchbook fits perfectly in the back pocket and is great for travel. The pages are thick and they work with watercolor beautifully.

Clear Stamps

My sister kindly gifted me these for my birthday one year and I love using them in my journal. They are so much fun to decorate my pages with!
