Focusing on Your Happiness + Well-Being Featuring 2018 Momentum Planner

“By being a happy person, by focusing on the good rather than the bad, on the positive rather than the negative, on what we rather want rather than what we don ́t want, we are able to transform ourselves, our lives and the lives of those around us” – Luminita Saviuc, in Purpose Fairy

How To Set and Achieve Your Goals

We all are guilty about setting unrealistic goals at the beginning of the year, am I right?  Keep reading to find out how to set and achieve your goals no matter what time of the year it is!

IMG_7458.PNG

1. Have a system and strategy

For me this includes my planner and goal planning inserts as show above. One of my favorite shops for inserts especially goal planning is Peanut Planner Co. Without my planner I would be lost, I always call it my second brain!

2. Be clear on actionable steps

Big goals can be very daunting which makes us even more prone to procrastinating. By dividing your goals into actionable steps that you can take daily, weekly, monthly, etc, it will not only be easier for you to accomplish that goal but it will be less frustrating and far more rewarding.

3. Keep a tracker for accountability

This has been a game changer for me this year. Since using a weekly and monthly tracker in my planner, I have found that I am much more productive on tasks at hand and keeps me on track to achieving my goals. Anyone else feel extremely accomplished by checking something off a list?

4. Reward yo self!

Last but definitely not least is to reward yourself when you accomplish not only the big goal, but the smaller actionable steps. This could be treating yourself to ice cream or watching a few episodes of your favorite show on Netflix.

How do you set your goals? Do you have a system and strategy in place? Let me know in the comments below!

What's In My Planner Bag

After about a year of planning and finding what works for me, I have crafted my everyday supplies down to this adorable pouch from Tj Maxx! These supplies are perfect for ring planning, travelers notebooks, note taking, bullet journaling, etc.

Pastel Pilot Frixion Erasable Highlighters

I love using these highlighters to color code and and highlight important events on my calendar I need to remember!

Hobonichi Techo 2017 Coleto Pen

Hi-Tec-C Coleto Pen

Coleto pens are one of my faves because you can have multiple pens in one barrel and it helps to not only save space but have exactly what you need in one pen and can change out the ink!

Pentel Pencil Click 0.7

Pentel Clic Eraser

These two items have quickly become must haves for my bullet journal. I like to sketch things out in pencil first (so I can erase any mistakes because I am a perfectionist). I then use the big eraser to erase the pencil marks after writing in pen.

Tombow Calligraphy Pen

Black Sharpie

The Tombow calligraphy pen has become my favorite pen to use. I love how it writes, doesn't bleed through and I have been enjoying trying to learn calligraphy and hand lettering. I use the sharpie to write on laminated post it notes in my planner for quick thoughts that I can just wipe off later.

 Staedtler Triplus Fineliner Pens

These pens have the most incredible top for writing and color coding. I have come to realize I definitely need all the colors!

How I Stay Organized + Planner Setup

Staying organized has become a top priority for me. With everything that goes on in life it is easy to forget things and lose track of time. Also, staying organized and planning has helped lower my stress and anxiety. By having a place to write all your thoughts out and then categorizing them accordingly, it will be easier to accomplish those tasks, stay on track and not feel like you are in the midst of a tornado! Check out how I organize my planner below!

Momentum Planner 2017 - Self-development & Customizable Tool

You all know my obsession with planners, so when Mariana reached out to me, I was so excited! Momentum is such a unique and great take on a planner, truly inspiring! I know 2017 is going to be a year for me to get more organized and definitely work on some self-development so this will be perfect!

Momentum combines the best of goal-setting, self-development and productivity tools into one beautifully designed book. This planner was just launched today, Wednesday November 30th , 2016 and will be available in English and German. This tool recognizes every person´s potential for development and for achieving great things. Based on the well-established personality model developed by key4you GmbH, it encourages people to discover themselves, to maximize their strengths, work on their limits and accomplish every goal they set for themselves. Momentum provides a short test, which helps its reader to understand what his unique personality model is.

The planner is then organized in 12 different themes and explains how each personality type experiences each one of them: How do I find a work-life balance? How do I deal with stress? How do I engage in relationships? How do I work in a team? How do I manage my time? As the year moves ahead, so will the themes and with them the reader - learning more and more about himself. Who doesn't want that?!

Momentum helps in the development of self-awareness, offers structure and direction, and has the potential of taking each person to wherever they want to go!

Are you ready to take on 2017 like a boss? I know I am!

Overall I am very impressed, I love the flow of the planner and how there are inspirational quotes, goals, and a monthly overview. Not to mention a new self-development task to work towards! I have been on the journey of self-development for quite some time and I think this will help me out and I think y'all should pick up one for yourselves! Mariana is giving the early birds a special deal so don't forget to check out the page out below and let's support our fellow planner boss!
